About The Position

Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services (PRS) at 1400 Reed Street is built around one idea: the people we serve set their own goals. You won’t be handing out a script, you will sit down with someone, learn what they want their life to look like and build the path together. That might be a job, a class, or just a regular routine that feels good.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in behavioral health, human services, or a related field
• Strong group facilitation and assessment skills
• A team first attitude and sound judgment

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a psychiatric rehabilitation setting is a plus
• Experience with adults is a plus
• CPRP certification is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Work one on one with people in recovery to set and chase goals they chose themselves
• Lead groups in skills training, psychoeducation, and rehabilitation using evidence-based practices
• Run biopsychosocial assessments for new members of the program
• Connect people with community resources and go with them when it helps
• Coordinate with outpatient providers and treating psychiatrics
• Shape the program schedule alongside the people who attend
• Keep clinical documentation current and take part in team meetings
