The Adult Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP) Counselor plays a vital role in supporting adults as they build the practical life skills needed for greater independence, emotional stability, and community functioning. This is a hands-on, community-centered position ideal for someone who loves helping others grow in real and meaningful ways. Each day, the PRP Counselor works directly with clients in their homes, communities, or via telehealth (when allowed), helping them practice daily living skills, improve social interactions, manage emotions, organize tasks, navigate community resources, and achieve the goals outlined in their Individual Rehabilitation Plan (IRP). This is not an office-based job PRP Counselors are active, mobile, and deeply engaged in clients’ day-to-day lives.
