About The Position

Your Wellness Sources (YWS) is seeking an experienced, compassionate Psychiatric Registered Nurse to join its growing Behavioral Health Program. This fully remote, part-time role is suited to a master's-prepared nurse or an RN pursuing a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner degree who enjoys therapeutic patient engagement, evidence-based behavioral health interventions, and collaborative psychiatric care. YWS uses an integrated healthcare model spanning psychiatry, primary care, behavioral health, nutrition, and other specialties. Patients include adolescents aged 16 and older, adults, military personnel, veterans, and people experiencing complex behavioral health challenges. The RN provides therapeutic counseling, supportive behavioral health interventions, psychoeducation, psychiatric nursing assessments, and support for individualized treatment plans. The nurse works with patients experiencing conditions such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma-related conditions, and substance use disorders, and collaborates with psychiatric providers to support progress, care coordination, and continuity. Services are delivered compassionately and with cultural sensitivity through secure telehealth platforms, and must remain within the RN's authorized scope of practice. The engagement is a 1099 independent contractor arrangement paying $44–$50 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. The anticipated commitment is initially 16 hours per week, with the possibility of increasing to 24 hours as the patient caseload grows. Patient scheduling is flexible and based on mutually agreed availability. The role offers access to a collaborative psychiatric provider team and professional clinical consultation.
