Description The Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN) Rover position with Cedar Creek Hospital: Is a clinical resource for unit staff during daily activities. Facilitates the admission and belonging process from the Intake Department, ambulance bay and to the designated unit. Completes nurse to nurse assessments with other healthcare facilities and communicates with Internal Medicine as needed. Completes internal nursing assessments. Is competent in assessing, planning, and delivering care for patients with co-occurring disorders. Continually assesses and reassesses the patient’s medical and psychiatric status and changing needs. Participates with other team members in planning and implementing the patient’s treatment plan. Works with both adult and adolescent population.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse licensed in the State of Michigan required
  • Previous psychiatric experience required
