About The Position

Provide and assist team members in coordinating the behavioral and physical health care needs of program participants. Monitor participant’s medication, network with the community regarding health care needs and provide substance abuse & psychiatric nursing services consistent with physician orders and standard nursing practices. Function as a consultant and provide education to participants, non-medical team members and the community.

Requirements

Board Certified Licensed RN/LPN in the State of PA.
Prior experience in servicing community mental health & Substance Abuse facilities and their needs.
Comprehensive knowledge of psychiatric clinical and psychosocial rehabilitation practices.
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Team oriented.
Very strong organization and analytical skills.
Detail oriented.
Must be available for scheduled emergency on-call service.
Must be available for local travel and possess a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
Scheduling flexibility and possible on-call work are necessary.
May be required to report to work during emergencies including inclement weather.
