About The Position

Thriveworks is seeking Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners in Memphis, Tennessee. This is a part-time, Fee for Service (W2) position with a compensation range of $61,000-$89,000 per year, based on 15-20 clinical hours per week. The role involves providing care to a diverse population of clients with mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, and ADHD, primarily focusing on adults and adolescents, with potential expansion across the lifespan. Thriveworks emphasizes a balanced approach to medication management, particularly regarding stimulant medications, and does not currently treat substance use disorders, referring out when necessary for telemedicine-only providers. Clinicians are expected to work in both in-person and telemedicine capacities.

Requirements

  • Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner - Board Certification required
  • Master's in Nursing with active prescriptive authority required in the state
  • One year of psychiatry practice is required
  • Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners need to be licensed and live in the state of Tennessee
  • Part-time requires 15 - 20 hours of availability per week

Nice To Haves

  • Understanding of AdvancedMD (AMD) EMR is a plus
  • Three years of experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Make Psychiatric assessments and evaluations of clients in an ongoing in-person and telemedicine capacity
  • Willingness to treat 14 years old and up
  • Prescribe medication to reduce mental health symptoms, as needed
  • Create and collaborate with clients on care plans
  • Complete and/or administer appropriate paperwork and assessment tools for clients
  • Adhere to Thriveworks' Clinical Practice Guidelines
  • Consult with Regional Clinic Directors and staff on clients, programs, and services at the various sites
  • Willing to visit a Thriveworks location for in-person collaborator meetings
