About The Position

This role involves conducting comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, developing and implementing treatment plans, prescribing and managing psychotropic medications, providing crisis intervention, and collaborating with a healthcare team. The position requires maintaining accurate clinical documentation and providing services in various settings including outpatient clinics, urgent care, telehealth, and community-based environments. Adherence to agency policies, confidentiality, and ethical standards is expected.

Requirements

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, including diagnostic assessments and risk evaluations
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
  • Prescribe, adjust, and manage psychotropic medications in accordance with best practices
  • Provide ongoing medication management and follow-up care
  • Deliver crisis intervention services and coordinate higher levels of care when necessary
  • Educate clients and families on diagnoses, medications, and treatment plans
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, care coordinators, and other healthcare providers
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case consultations
  • Provide services across multiple settings, including outpatient clinics, urgent care, telehealth, and community-based environments
  • Adhere to all agency policies and procedures, including confidentiality and ethical standards
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned to support client care and organizational operations
