About The Position
Centurion is seeking a per diem Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join their team at State Correctional Institution-Albion. This position involves providing mental health/psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for patients under the clinical direction of a psychiatrist. The role also includes collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in providing mental health services within a correctional setting. The position is for 2-3 days per week.
Requirements
- ANCC or AANP Psychiatric Certified Nurse Practitioner with active, unrestricted Pennsylvania CRNP medical license & DEA.
- Completion of Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Program
- At least 1 year of prescribing experience required
- All qualified applicants are required to successfully complete a security clearance process as required by the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections
