About The Position
The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner is a vital part of Arbour Hospital’s multidisciplinary treatment team. Responsibilities include providing advanced practice nursing support for psychiatric patients, participating in treatment planning, implementation, and monitoring, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary treatment team to identify patient treatment needs. The role also involves completing medication assessments and adjustments, prescribing medication for patients under the supervision of a psychiatrist, providing social support as needed, and establishing and maintaining effective working relationships within the agency, community, and referral sources.
Requirements
- Current MA state license as a Nurse Practitioner
- CPR certification

- 2-3 years of experience working in community health preferred
