About The Position
PrimeCare Medical, Inc. (PCM) has been in operation since 1986 and is a privately owned, physician-founded, nationally accredited correctional healthcare practice. PCM provides comprehensive medical, mental health, and dental care services to over 80 county jails, prisons, and juvenile detention centers throughout Pennsylvania, Maryland, Florida, New York, and New Hampshire. Correctional healthcare offers a unique, challenging, and exciting opportunity for medical professionals to utilize their skills and knowledge daily. It is a hybrid of Primary Care, Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, and Addiction Medicine, providing care to an under-served, diverse, and appreciative patient population. We are seeking a Full-Time Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to provide on-site medical care at the Lancaster County Prison in Lancaster, PA; Cumberland County Prison in Carlisle, PA; and Adams County Adult Correctional Complex in Gettysburg, PA. This is a 40 hour/week position, Monday through Friday, during normal business hours (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM).
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- Board Certified.
- Must have two or more years' experience as a PMHNP.
- Licensed to practice Medicine in the State of Pennsylvania.
- Maintain current DEA license.
- Maintain active BLS (i.e. CPR) certification.
- Maintain current Driver’s License.

- Salaries are negotiable and commensurate based on experience.
- Annual Salary range is $130,000.00 - $150,000.00
