About The Position

The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner manages an assigned caseload and provides direct patient care, including psychiatric evaluations and prescribing and monitoring medication. The position works primarily from Arizona office locations, with Telehealth available for some patients. The practitioner oversees medical assistants, participates in treatment planning, case consultation, and staffing, and documents client interactions to track progress toward goals. The role addresses clients’ clinical needs during regular workday hours and participates in a rotational on-call schedule, typically one week per month; after-hours calls are rare.

Requirements

• MD or DO license in Arizona.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Child/Adolescent Psychiatry.
• CPR/First Aid certified.
• Valid, unrestricted Arizona driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and provide medication management.
• Oversee medical assistants and support staff.
• Participate in treatment planning and clinical consultations.

• Stay current with diagnostic and treatment changes and modalities.
