About The Position
Centurion Health is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Missouri Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking a full-time Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Western Reception Diagnostic and Correctional Center located in St. Joseph, Missouri. The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner provides mental health/psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for patients under the clinical direction of a psychiatrist and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team in providing mental health services to patients in a correctional setting.
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted MO APRN license
- Active, unrestricted DEA MO BNDD
- Ability to pass background screening and credentialing
Responsibilities
- Provides mental health/psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for patients under the clinical direction of a psychiatrist.
- Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team in providing mental health services to patients in a correctional setting.
