About The Position
Centurion is seeking a per diem Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to provide mental health/psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for patients in a correctional setting. This role operates under the clinical direction of a psychiatrist and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team. The position offers coverage for sites in the Central Region of Pennsylvania, including SCI-Benner Township, SCI-Houtzdale, SCI-Huntingdon, and SCI-Smithfield, for 1-3 days per week.
Requirements
- ANCC or AANP Psychiatric Certified Nurse Practitioner
- Active, unrestricted Pennsylvania CRNP medical license & DEA
- Completion of Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Program
- At least 1 year of prescribing experience required
- Successfully complete a security clearance process as required by the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections
