About The Position

This role involves providing comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, developing and implementing treatment plans, managing psychotropic medications, and delivering crisis intervention services. The position requires collaboration with other healthcare providers and maintaining accurate clinical documentation. Services will be provided across multiple settings, including outpatient clinics, urgent care, telehealth, and community-based environments. Adherence to agency policies, confidentiality, and ethical standards is expected.

Requirements

  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Ohio
  • Licensed as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in the state of Ohio
  • Master's degree in Nursing or related field
  • Board certification as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
  • Experience in conducting psychiatric evaluations and risk assessments
  • Proficiency in psychotropic medication management
  • Experience with crisis intervention
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Ability to maintain accurate clinical documentation
  • Familiarity with various healthcare settings (outpatient, urgent care, telehealth, community-based)

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, including diagnostic assessments and risk evaluations
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
  • Prescribe, adjust, and manage psychotropic medications in accordance with best practices
  • Provide ongoing medication management and follow-up care
  • Deliver crisis intervention services and coordinate higher levels of care when necessary
  • Educate clients and families on diagnoses, medications, and treatment plans
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, care coordinators, and other healthcare providers
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case consultations
  • Provide services across multiple settings, including outpatient clinics, urgent care, telehealth, and community-based environments
  • Adhere to all agency policies and procedures, including confidentiality and ethical standards
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned to support client care and organizational operations
