About The Position

Lavender is seeking part-time and full-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners to provide tele-psychiatric visits to clients in West Virginia. This remote opportunity offers the flexibility and autonomy of private practice while working with a supportive, experienced team. Nurse Practitioners build their own schedules within operating hours of 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., seven days a week, with a minimum commitment of 16 hours per week. The role uses a 1099 compensation model and includes mentorship and training. The Nurse Practitioner conducts initial evaluations and collaboratively develops treatment plans that may include medication, therapy, or both. Practitioners follow up with clients at least monthly to assess treatment effectiveness and ongoing care until treatment goals are reached. Many clients prefer appointments combining medication and therapy, so comfort with multiple modalities of talk therapy is required. Lavender is nurse-founded and led, and describes its culture as caring, spirited, diverse, inclusive, and collaborative. The company offers remote work with expert team support, opportunities to shape a growing startup, company-sponsored in-person meetups, virtual team events, community activities, and competitive compensation. Lavender is an equal opportunity employer and provides accommodations during recruitment upon request.
