About The Position

ViaQuest Psychiatric & Behavioral Solutions provides individualized care to aging populations, people with developmental disabilities, and people suffering from extreme trauma. Clients receive support from a team of mental health counselors, social workers, certified nurse practitioners, case managers, and psychiatrists. The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner provides psychiatric care to clients across a range of ages and works with caregivers and the broader care team.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• PMHNP license required.
• Experience in psychiatric, mental, and behavioral health services.
• Willingness to work with a variety of ages, including children and adolescents.
• Willingness to travel throughout the assigned service area.

Nice To Haves

• Outpatient experience.
• Tele-psychiatry experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform face-to-face assessments and ongoing psychiatric visits with clients of all ages, including children, adolescents, and adults.
• Maintain current patient records that clearly document problems, plans, actions, goals, and changes.
• Instruct client caregivers.
• Manage client medications.
• Travel throughout the assigned service area.
