About The Position

Talkspace is seeking a Part-Time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) licensed in California with an active 103 certification. This remote contract role allows you to practice independently, set your own schedule, and focus on patient care while Talkspace handles administrative tasks like insurance billing and marketing. You will treat patients in California via video sessions, conduct initial psychiatric diagnosis interviews and evaluations, and manage treatment plans through the Talkspace platform. Collaboration with the Talkspace psychiatry team is also part of the role.

Requirements

• Active Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) license in California state
• Active 103 certification on California license (must have “NP Group Setting W/O Standard Procedures” on CA license)
• Active DEA and individual NPI number
• Submission of a fully completed, signed CAQH application
• Reliable internet connection
• Independent liability insurance; minimum coverage amount required is $1 million occurrence/$3 million aggregate

Responsibilities

• Treat patients in your state(s) of licensure
• Conduct initial Psychiatric Diagnosis Interview Examinations (PDE) for new patient referrals and Evaluation & Management (E/M) sessions for established patients
• Use the Talkspace platform to conduct video call sessions with patients, submit clinical documentation, and manage patient treatment plans
• Coordinate with the Talkspace psychiatry team as needed
