About The Position

Medical Associates Clinic is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our Psychiatry & Psychology team located in our Dubuque, Iowa location. This is a full-time position with an attractive benefits package, competitive base salary, and bonus potential. The primary schedule is Monday-Friday, with call required. Qualified candidates must be a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).

Requirements

• Must be a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
• Three years to five years of similar or related experience.
• Equivalent to a college degree and a professional certificate or a graduate degree.
• Must be a licensed ARNP or PA.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct Psychiatric medical services under the direction of supervising physicians.
• Provide direct mental health care under the direction of supervising physician; including but not limited to: obtaining histories, mental status exams, ordering and interpreting appropriate lab and x-ray studies, establishing diagnosis, prescribing medications as needed and initiating treatment plan.
• Provide patient education to promote good mental health and support mental health management.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned.
