About The Position

Centurion Health is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Tennessee Department of Correction. We are currently seeking a PRN Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Northeast Correctional Complex located in Mountain City, TN. The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner provides mental health/psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for patients under the clinical direction of a psychiatrist and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team in providing mental health services to patients in a correctional setting.

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted Tennessee APRN medical license
• Active DEA
• Must pass background screening, drug test and credentialing

Responsibilities

• Provides mental health/psychiatric assessment
• Diagnosis, and treatment for patients under the clinical direction of a psychiatrist
• Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team in providing mental health services to patients in a correctional setting.
