About The Position

Make a Meaningful Impact in Integrated Pain & Behavioral Health Care We are seeking a compassionate, highly skilled Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or Physician Assistant with psychiatric expertise to join our collaborative Pain Services team. This role is ideal for a provider who is passionate about treating complex patients with chronic pain, co-occurring mental health disorders, and substance use conditions. You’ll work within a multidisciplinary environment where behavioral health and pain medicine intersect — helping patients regain stability, function, and quality of life.

Requirements

MSN (Psychiatric Mental Health NP) or completion of an accredited PA program
Active, unrestricted state license
Board Certified PMHNP or PA
Active DEA license
Minimum 2 years of psychiatric mental health experience

Chronic pain management
Substance use disorder treatment
Buprenorphine prescribing experience
Experience in integrated or multidisciplinary settings

Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management
Diagnose and treat psychiatric disorders, substance use disorders, and co-occurring chronic pain conditions
Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications, including buprenorphine
Monitor controlled substances in compliance with state and federal regulations
Order and interpret labs and drug screenings
Provide patient and family education regarding mental health, pain management, and recovery
Collaborate closely with our Behavioral Wellness team and pain specialists
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and best-practice development
Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation
