About The Position
Expanding practice seeks a Psychiatric Advanced Practice Clinician Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work in Marion, North Carolina. Join a Federally Qualified Health Center offering trauma-informed, integrated behavioral health care, with no weekends or holiday work required. This is a full-time position where the clinician will assess, diagnose, prescribe, and modify interventions with supervising physician support. The role involves providing trauma-informed, compassionate, non-judgmental care for substance use and mental health disorders, working with both pediatric and adult patients. Dual diagnosis experience is preferred. The clinician will collaborate closely with the behavioral health department and primary care providers within an interdisciplinary health care team.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited master's program as PMHNP, NP with PMHNP certification, or PA with Psychiatry CAQ
- Current North Carolina NP/PA licensure/certification
- Current DEA license
- BLS and applicable certifications (within 30 days of employment)
- Must be Medicaid and Medicare eligible
Nice To Haves
- Dual diagnosis experience preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish or Russian preferred
- Public health experience preferred
