About The Position

Ally Psychiatry is seeking dedicated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs) and experienced Psychiatric Physician Assistants (PA-C) to join our growing team in the Jacksonville, Florida market. This is a full-time, hospital-based opportunity caring primarily for an adult inpatient psychiatric population. The position may also include coverage within Partial Hospitalization (PHP) or Intensive Outpatient (IOP) programs. Requirements

Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in the state of practice, or eligibility to obtain licensure
Board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) or Physician Assistant with psychiatric experience
Active DEA registration, or eligibility to obtain one
Master’s or doctoral degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
Current BLS certification
Ability to complete required credentialing, background checks, and hospital or insurance enrollment
Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and ability to collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals
New graduates may be considered for select roles with appropriate psychiatric training and clinical experience

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in inpatient psychiatry, acute behavioral health, crisis stabilization, PHP or IOP is strongly preferred.
Experience providing psychiatric evaluations, medication management, behavioral health treatment, or mental health services preferred
Inpatient psychiatry, outpatient psychiatry, consultation-liaison psychiatry, or telepsychiatry experience preferred depending on the position
