About The Position
Garden State Counseling Center is a behavioral health practice in Paramus, NJ dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care across diverse populations. Our team is committed to creating a supportive, collaborative environment where clinicians can do meaningful work and make a real difference in clients' lives. Garden State Counseling Center is seeking an APRN to support psychiatric evaluations and related clinical services for the team. This is a contracted, virtual role with a light, flexible weekly commitment, well suited to a clinician looking to supplement their existing practice.
Requirements
- Active APN certification from the New Jersey Board of Nursing (required)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Background in children and family counseling, developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, geriatrics, or special education populations
- Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote service delivery
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric diagnostic evaluations for clients located in New Jersey
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Coordinate with the clinical team to support continuity of care
