We are seeking dual licensed (New Jersey and New York) Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNP) to expand access to behavioral health care in Hoboken, NJ. Qualified candidates must have both licenses. Requirements

  • Completion of a Master's degree in nursing from an accredited program
  • Active RN license within the employed state
  • Board certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) as a PMHNP-BC is necessary-new graduates may apply, but cannot start until licensed.
  • APN authorization to practice family health within New Jersey and New York , as approved by the Board of Nurse Examiners
  • Possess an active DEA or have an application underway.
  • Authorization for prescription practice
  • Solid knowledge of related federal and state regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA compliance
  • Exceptional communication and patient/care delivery, along with strong leadership skills
  • Excellent ability to organize, with a team player mindset
  • Eagerness to engage with diverse groups
  • Supporter of LGBTQ+ initiatives

  • Bilingual abilities are advantageous

Responsibilities

  • Supervising clinical work and signing off on accrued clinical hours.
  • Providing supportive therapy and non-stimulant or non-narcotic medication management for patients.
