Experienced PMHNP – Part time - Child and Adolescent Behavioral Health
About The Position
Ally Psychiatry is seeking an experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with child and adolescent psychiatry experience to join our team at Fort Payne Pediatrics in Fort Payne, Alabama. This role involves practicing as an embedded behavioral health provider within a busy pediatric clinic, collaborating closely with pediatricians to provide comprehensive mental health care for children and adolescents. The position is part-time, 3 days per week, with 8-hour workdays, focusing on 100% outpatient care. It utilizes a collaborative care model for psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing behavioral health treatment for young patients. The role is supported by administrative and clinical staff within a growing behavioral health organization.
Requirements
- Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited PMHNP program
- Current or eligible Alabama APRN license
- Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)
- Experience treating children and adolescents required
- DEA registration required by start date
- Excellent communication and collaborative care skills
Responsibilities
