About The Position

Ally Psychiatry is seeking an experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our growing outpatient behavioral health team in Gadsden, Alabama. This is a full-time outpatient PMHNP opportunity offering a Monday–Friday clinic schedule, collaborative physician support, and a strong work-life balance within a clinician-led psychiatry practice. The position involves conducting comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, providing medication management, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Candidates must have a minimum of one year of PMHNP experience practicing in Alabama and an active DEA license. The role includes participation in a scheduled evening and weekend call rotation.

Requirements

• Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
• Minimum of 1 year PMHNP experience in Alabama required
• Active Alabama APRN license required
• Active DEA license required
• Strong psychiatric assessment and medication management skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and follow-up visits
• Provide medication management and ongoing outpatient psychiatric care
• Develop individualized behavioral health treatment plans
• Deliver evidence-based mental health treatment in an outpatient setting
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and multidisciplinary care teams
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation
• Participate in scheduled evening and weekend call rotation
