Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)
About The Position
Mindify Wellness and Care is seeking a compassionate and skilled Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) to join our growing behavioral health team. This opportunity offers flexibility, strong clinical support, and the ability to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals seeking quality psychiatric care. As part of our interdisciplinary team, you'll provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and treatment planning through telehealth and onsite services at our partner adult day centers. You'll collaborate with therapists, social workers, and a supervising psychiatrist to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care.
Requirements
- Master's or Doctoral Degree from an accredited Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program
- Active New Jersey RN License
- Active New Jersey APRN License
- Board Certification as a PMHNP-BC
- Active DEA Registration with prescriptive authority

Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and ongoing assessments
- Diagnose behavioral health conditions using DSM-5-TR criteria
- Develop individualized treatment plans
- Prescribe, manage, and monitor psychiatric medications
- Conduct risk assessments and crisis evaluations when clinically indicated
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, and treatment options
- Support patient engagement and treatment adherence
- Provide therapeutic interventions within scope of practice
- Collaborate with therapists, social workers, primary care providers, and other members of the treatment team
- Participate in case consultations and treatment planning discussions
- Coordinate referrals and support continuity of care
- Complete timely and accurate documentation within the EMR
- Follow organizational policies, clinical standards, and applicable regulations
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and professional practice standards
