Requirements
- Graduation from a state-certified advanced practice program specializing in psychiatry or mental health.
- Unrestricted license to practice as an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN).
- Unrestricted DEA registration.
- State-issued Controlled Substance Registration (CSR).
- Registration with the state Prescription Monitoring Program (PMP).
- Child-capable certification.
- PMHNP certification.
Nice To Haves
- Two years of direct patient care experience for psychiatric disorders is preferred.
