About The Position
A community-focused behavioral health practice in western Illinois is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to provide outpatient mental health services in both clinic and telehealth settings. The provider will evaluate, diagnose, and manage a wide range of psychiatric conditions, develop individualized treatment plans, prescribe medications, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and support underserved patient populations while enjoying a competitive compensation package.
Requirements
- Master’s degree with Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certification
- Board-certified or board-eligible as a PMHNP
- DEA registration or eligibility to obtain prescribing authority
- Experience evaluating and treating patients with acute and chronic mental health conditions in an outpatient setting
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaborative care skills
- Commitment to serving diverse patient populations
