About The Position
CHE Behavioral Health Services is hiring a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join its clinician-led, APA-approved behavioral health team. Since 1995, CHE has served more than 100,000 patients across 800+ facilities in 11+ states, focusing on adult and geriatric mental health. The position is based in partnered facilities in Honesdale, Pennsylvania. Clinicians can create their own schedules Monday through Friday between 7 AM and 7 PM. Compensation is $110,000–$130,000 annually, with fee-for-service or salaried options. The role offers a consistent caseload and does not require nights, weekends, or on-call work.
Requirements
- MSN in Psychiatric/Mental Health.
- ANCC PMHNP certification.
- Active DEA license.
- Experience in psychotropic medication management.
- At least 2 years of experience is required.
- Family Nurse Practitioners with 3–5 years of psychiatric experience will be considered.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and follow-up visits.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate treatment plans.
- Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications.
- Collaborate with an integrated care team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, LCSWs, and nursing staff.
- Distinguish and diagnose psychological versus physiological disorders.
- Consult on complex or unusual clinical cases.
