High Focus Centers, a premier provider of outpatient behavioral health treatment, is seeking a Full-Time Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our multidisciplinary team in Center City Philadelphia. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide psychiatric care to adolescents and adults in a structured outpatient setting focused on mental health, substance use, and co-occurring disorders.
Requirements
- Active Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) license in Pennsylvania required.
- Knowledge of CARF, DDAP, and Office of Mental Health standards.
- Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance and ethical practice standards.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and electronic health record systems.
- Excellent interpersonal, clinical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to deliver high-quality, evidence-based psychiatric care in an outpatient setting.
- Strong clinical judgment and collaborative decision-making skills.
- Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous quality improvement.
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of two years of clinical experience in psychiatric care preferred.
- Experience working with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and medication management sessions.
- Monitor client progress, review lab results, and adjust treatment plans as clinically indicated.
- Prepare discharge orders and prescriptions.
- Collaborate with therapists, medical staff, and other providers to ensure integrated, high-quality care.
- Provide clinical guidance and support to the treatment team.
- Participate in peer review and quality assurance initiatives.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
- Support continuous improvement in psychiatric services and program operations.
