About The Position

BlueSky is a clinician-led, patient-centered, collaborative behavioral health company dedicated to improving access to high-quality mental health care through evidence-based practices. The company aims to make its services available to all regions, particularly serving those in rural areas, by offering telehealth consultations. This role involves providing effective individual psychiatric care via telehealth in an outpatient setting. The PMHNP will conduct patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and prescribe medications, ensuring all care adheres to applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards. The company emphasizes autonomy, allowing practice in the best interest of the patient without corporate interference. Clinicians work in growing teams composed of multiple therapists and a prescriber, with onboarding facilitating matches with eligible psychotherapists. Regular staffing with collaborating therapists (at least monthly) is encouraged for discussing patient cases and clinical topics. Clinical work is performed from home, with flexible days and hours, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Clinical team meetings are virtual, and clinical conferences are held four times a week, with required attendance of at least one per week for the first 90 days, and one monthly thereafter.

Requirements

  • Must have a PMHNP license and open to licensing in alternative states: AZ, CO, IA, IL, MA, MD, MN, MS, NC, OH, TN, TX, WA.
  • At least 6 months of prior work experience as a PMHNP required.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of healthcare professionals.
  • Solid computer and basic technology skills.
  • Strong clinical background in psychiatry.
  • Strong background in the diagnosis of psychiatric disorders and psychopharmacological treatments and familiarity with non-pharmacological interventions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and time management skills.
