About The Position
Ally Psychiatry is seeking a dedicated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our growing team at TriStar Southern Hills Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. This is an outstanding opportunity for a clinician who enjoys the fast pace and variety of inpatient consult-liaison psychiatry while working alongside an experienced multidisciplinary behavioral health team. In this full-time position, you will provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and collaborative treatment planning for patients admitted to the medical hospital who require behavioral health services.
Requirements
- Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)
- Active Tennessee APRN license (or ability to obtain)
- DEA registration (or eligibility)
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Nice To Haves
- Experience in inpatient psychiatry, hospital-based psychiatry, or consult-liaison services
Responsibilities
- Provide psychiatric evaluations
- Perform medication management
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, hospitalists, nursing staff, and case management teams
- Assist with care coordination and discharge planning
