Lorenz Clinic is seeking a doctorally-prepared Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) for a full-time, salaried, exempt, W-2 outpatient position. This role emphasizes integrated psychiatric care, where PMHNPs collaborate closely with psychologists, psychotherapists, and advanced trainees within interdisciplinary teams. The clinic prioritizes clinical quality, relationships, and sustainability over scale and transactional care. Providers have a significant role in planning, innovation, and care delivery. As a psychologist-led organization, Lorenz protects clinical depth, professional autonomy, and a strong culture of Reflective Practice. The clinic is also a teaching clinic, contributing to the growth of the profession. An evidence-based Clinician Wellness Roadmap supports autonomy, fairness, manageable caseloads, and alignment with meaningful work. The long-term vision is to become a leading family institute known for integrated care, research, and clinician-led innovation. The Psychiatry Department is founded on whole-person care, ethical collaboration, and systemic understanding, with PMHNPs working in a relational and interdisciplinary model that supports precision and long-term therapeutic impact. The team treats individuals across the lifespan with diverse presentations in a collaborative setting, offering consultation with psychologists and access to testing. The department maintains strong relationships with referring primary care providers. Lorenz Psychiatry, as an affiliate of the University of Minnesota School of Nursing, contributes to the profession through teaching, mentorship, and applied training.
