About The Position
Ally Psychiatry is seeking experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs) or Psychiatric Physician Assistants (PAs) for PRN opportunities in the Chattanooga, Tennessee area. This role involves providing inpatient psychiatric care within a physician-led organization known for its collaborative approach, innovation, and clinical excellence. Requirements
- Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) or Physician Assistant with psychiatric experience
- Active Tennessee license or eligibility for Tennessee licensure
- Tennessee DEA or ability to obtain
- Experience in inpatient psychiatry, behavioral health, or acute mental health preferred
- Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills
- Passion for delivering compassionate, patient-centered psychiatric care
Responsibilities
- Complete comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments
- Develop individualized treatment plans
- Manage psychiatric medications and monitor treatment response
- Participate in daily inpatient rounding
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, nursing staff, and hospital teams
- Provide evidence-based psychiatric care in an inpatient behavioral health setting
- Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant medical documentation
