About The Position

SOL Mental Health is redefining mental health care by creating a supportive, clinician-centered environment that combines a mission-driven practice with professional growth. The Psychiatric Clinician will provide high-quality, mission-driven clinical care, engage in weekly group meetings for collaboration and learning, and complete clinical documentation efficiently, with the option to use an AI-supported tool. This role is based in our Long Island City location and requires a minimum of 3 onsite days per week.

Requirements

• Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) in NY.
• Active DEA license in NY.
• Active NPI number.
• Experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a Behavioral Health setting.
• Demonstrated experience caring for a diverse mix of patients receiving mental health treatment for anxiety, trauma-related disorders, and more.
• Skilled in evidence-based clinical treatment methods and applying varied interventions with patients in crisis.
• Excellent clinical knowledge and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• 2+ years of experience providing medication management treatment to children, adolescents, and/or adults is highly preferred.
