This is a responsible position requiring clinical, psychiatric, medical, and administrative duties. The Psychiatric APRN will provide outpatient psychiatric evaluations and medication management services to adult clients with behavioral health issues. The Psychiatric APRN will work collaboratively with the Medical Director, other Providers and Clinicians to provide quality client assessment and diagnosis, formulate treatment plans, prescribe medications, order laboratory tests, interpret test results, provide patient education, and documentation via the electronic health records system per statutes, regulations and protocols regulating the profession. The APRN will also work in collaboration with a Medical Assistant to coordinate client care. This is an office-based position. Full-time Psychiatric APRNs are required to consistently meet the minimum client-facing client care hours/billable hours per month. Directions for Living is an essential services provider. All Directions for Living Team Members must be willing and able to provide vital support and essential services to the people that we serve in the event of an emergency, pandemic, or other disaster situation.
