About The Position

Lakeview Center provides comprehensive behavioral health care to adults and children with mental illnesses, drug and alcohol dependencies and intellectual disabilities. Across Northwest Florida, our services range from residential treatment to outpatient counseling, psychiatry, trauma care, treatments for substance misuse and 24/7 support for those with serious mental illnesses. Requirements

Must have a Master of Science in Nursing.
Must be certified as a Psychiatric Advanced Practice Registered Nurse by the Florida Board of Nursing.
Must have an active Florida license.
Must have active, or in process, DEA and be eligible for Dispensing Certification in Florida.
Must be able to pass organization screening requirements, including state or federal background screenings as appropriate.
Comply with professional licensing, credentialing and privileging requirements.

Nice To Haves

Suboxone Certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide outpatient individual and/or group therapy, medication management, and psychiatric evaluations.
Make independent medical judgments and collaborative decisions and seeks consultation from medical staff members when clinically indicated.
Provide services at County Jail and provide dual documentation in EHR systems.
Provide inpatient evaluation and follow-up.
Oversee Interns through Preceptorship
Attend and participate in the monthly MSO meeting.
Documents and reports psychiatric services and activities within designated time frames.
Maintains compliance with guidelines and requirements of LCI, MSO and psychiatric standards, funding and accrediting agencies.
