About The Position
iTrust Wellness provides comprehensive outpatient behavioral health and psychiatric services to individuals and families across South Carolina. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Psychiatric Advanced Practice Provider to join our Spartanburg-based team as an independent contractor. This role offers a hybrid care model, combining in-person services in the Spartanburg area with telehealth visits, allowing for flexibility while supporting high-quality, accessible care.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in nursing (APRN) or Physician Assistant Studies (PA)
- Board certification in area of specialty: PMHNP (preferred) – new or experienced, AGNP – new or experienced, if new require specific psych experience as an RN, FNP – new or experienced, if new require specific psych experience as an RN, PA-C – new or experienced, if new require specific psych experience during clinicals.
- Active, or eligible to receive, unrestricted state licensure in South Carolina
- Active, or eligible to receive, prescriptive authority in South Carolina
- Active, or eligible to receive, DEA Controlled Substances licensure
- Strong clinical judgment
- Solid foundation in psychopharmacology with an interest in continued learning
Nice To Haves
- PMHNP certification
- Experience as an RN with specific psych experience (for AGNP/FNP applicants)
- Specific psych experience during clinicals (for PA-C applicants)
- Interest in continued learning in psychopharmacology
