Southwestern Vermont Medical Center (SVMC), part of Dartmouth Health's Department of Psychiatry, is seeking a full-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for a new inpatient psychiatric unit for adolescents at Southwestern Vermont Medical Center in Bennington, VT. This role involves an alternating schedule with some night and weekend coverage, along with generous allowances for vacation and conference time. The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will join a dedicated interdisciplinary team, including social workers, therapists, psychiatrists, and medical providers, to deliver high-quality, state-of-the-art inpatient psychiatric care to adolescents aged 12-17. The position emphasizes professional development, allowing nurse practitioners to practice at the top of their scope. Opportunities for clinical supervision, precepting, and didactic teaching in APRN and other psychiatric education training programs are available for interested applicants.
