About The Position

Wisdom Traditions Counseling Services provides Alaska State certified and CARF nationally accredited outpatient programs, offering both live onsite and tele-health services. Our integrated approach to patient care includes the treatment of behavioral health, addiction, and care coordination for primary care medical and medication management. We are seeking a compassionate individual with an eye for details, looking for a dynamic and fulfilling career in a supportive team-based environment. The ideal candidate will be calm and collected, able to support others, and possess an open and empathetic perspective on whole body healing.

Requirements

Ability to sit still and quietly monitor patients for up to 2 hours at a time and up to 6 hours in a shift.
High School Diploma or GED
BLS/CPR certification
Understanding of state and federal patient confidentiality and privacy regulations.
Must be willing to work with patients who present with addiction and maladaptive behaviors.
Reliably commute or plan to relocate to Anchorage, AK 99518 before starting work.

Responsibilities

Provide care and support to patients during program ketamine medicine sessions.
Form a rapport with and monitor patients in coordination with the medical team.
Provide non-intrusive support during ketamine sessions.
Document observations per guidelines and provided training.
Maintain timely, accurate, and complete patient records according to clinical and legal standards.
Monitor patients during each session of their dosing.
Ensure rooms are prepared to standard before patient arrival.
Complete other duties when not scheduled with patients.
