About The Position
The Psychiatric Technicians (Assistant Manager) performs client care duties for clients in acute psychiatric distress. Assists Manager with supervision of other psychiatric technicians and assumes supervisory function in Manager’s absence.
Requirements
- High school diploma required
- A minimum “very good/outstanding” performance evaluation on the most recent performance appraisal.
- Excellent written and verbal skills.
- Completed mandated training.
- Has demonstrated ability to care for children and youth in a nurturing and therapeutic manner.
- Must have strong supervisory skills in managing and motivating the staff.
- Has demonstrated appropriate implementation of The Children's Village Values: Cultural/Sensitivity/Conflict Resolution/GGI, as presented in the curriculum.
- Demonstrated ability to develop a therapeutic environment for at-risk youth
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred in a related field.
