About The Position

Psych RN - Long Term Care (LTC) Full Time No Weekends We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Registered Nurse (Psych RN) to join our Long Term Care (LTC) team. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, the ability to work independently, and proficiency with computer systems to support patient care and documentation.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state.
• Experience in psychiatric nursing, preferably in a long term care environment.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and other healthcare software.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric nursing care to residents in a long term care setting.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Educate residents and families about mental health conditions and care plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records.
• Work independently to manage caseload and prioritize tasks effectively.
