About The Position

Southridge Behavioral Hospital is a new state-of-the-art facility, a joint venture with the Trinity Health System and Universal Health Services, serving up to 96 adult and geriatric patients across four units. The hospital seeks high-caliber applicants to provide innovative and evidence-based care focused on patient needs, comfort, and safety. The Registered Nurse RN coordinates and evaluates patient care through collaborative efforts with the interdisciplinary team, adhering to the nursing process and standards of care and practices. They also oversee and direct Mental Health Technicians on their units to ensure patient safety and needs are met.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited professional nursing required
Registered Nurse RN license issued by the State of Michigan required

Nice To Haves

A minimum of three years’ experience in a psychiatric health-care facility preferred

Responsibilities

Coordinate and evaluate patient care through collaborative efforts with the interdisciplinary team in accordance with the nursing process and the standards of care and practices
Oversee and direct the Mental Health Technicians on their units to provide for the safety and needs of the patients
