About The Position
Impact Health PC is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to provide psychiatric care to residents in Skilled Nursing Facilities in the Bridgewater, New Jersey area. The role involves assessing, diagnosing, and managing psychiatric and behavioral health conditions; developing individualized treatment plans; and collaborating with physicians, facility staff, and interdisciplinary care teams to provide high-quality, patient-centered care. Providers practice with autonomy and receive clinical support and resources. The position offers a flexible Monday–Friday schedule with no nights, weekends, holidays, or on-call work. It involves travel in the Bridgewater area. The stated earning potential is $115,000–$175,000 per year, based on experience.
Requirements
- Active Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) license/certification in New Jersey, as applicable.
- At least 2 years of clinical experience providing mental health care to adult populations.
- Strong psychiatric assessment, diagnostic, and medication management skills.
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHRs) and clinical documentation.
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills.
- Ability to practice independently within applicable state regulations while working closely with an interdisciplinary care team.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in Skilled Nursing, Long-Term Care, Geriatrics, Hospital, Residential Care, or Outpatient Psychiatry.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management.
