This is a part-time position at Northcoast Behavioral Healthcare. Requirements

  • Requires current license as registered professional nurse in state of Ohio as issued by Board of Nursing per Section 4723.03 of Revised Code.
  • Nursing Professional Skills: Building Trust, Collaboration, Attention to Detail, Delegation, Analyzation
  • Official transcripts are required for all post-secondary education, coursework, or degrees listed on the application.
  • Applicants must submit an official transcript before receiving a formal employment offer.
  • Failure to provide transcripts within five (5) business days of the request will result in disqualification from further consideration.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and evaluate nursing/medical needs of patients
  • Initiate and direct implementation of the nursing care plan
  • Observe, evaluate, and record patient behavior and condition
  • Administer medications and treatment as ordered by the physician
  • Assist with physical examinations
  • Respond to emergency situations
  • Directs delivery of and evaluate psychiatric/nursing care of patients delivered by professional and nonprofessional staff
  • Prepare, review, implement and update records/reports/plans
  • Serve as an interdisciplinary treatment team member
