About The Position

We have 2 PSW vacancy for Community Clients in Coldwater (20 min commute) area to provide care. Shifts may vary from mornings to evenings to overnights and every other weekend. Possible live in opportunity in future.

Requirements

• PSW certification is required
• Valid First Aid/CPR certificate
• Completion of a Police Vulnerable Sector Check within last 6 months
• Drivers License and own insured vehicle is mandatory
• Satisfactory professional references
• Ability to accurately follow written and verbal instructions
• Must be able to anticipate problems and use sound judgment and tact in handling confidential matters

Nice To Haves

• CPI training is an asset

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care
• Drivers license and reliable car are mandatory for this position.
• Providing cognitive, social, emotional, and spiritual support
• Provide behavior support and crisis intervention
• Maintaining open communication with client and their family
• Monitoring care plan and adding documentation with any changes and updates
• Responding to all emergency situations
• All other duties, as assigned
