Afternoon/Evening PSS Caregiver
About The Position
This position provides the highest quality personal care and assistance while promoting overall resident well-being. Behaviors are expected to exemplify Company values, assuring that Exceptional Customer Service is consistently provided to all internal and external customers. Responsibilities include assisting with all Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as defined on the Care Plan; completing all other assignments, and duties as directed by the Charge Nurse, Nurse Manager or Resident Care Coordinator encouraging participation in the life enrichment program, and being highly observant of resident conditions and behaviors, and potentially unsafe resident situations, or environmental safety concerns, reporting them immediately to the Charge Nurse. Afternoon/Evening PSS Caregiver position will be required to meet the requirements of the regular schedule as well as working at least two Company-observed holidays, one of which may be a major holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Day), if requested. Mandatory overtime (working beyond scheduled shift) will be required at times to meet unexpected demands. Duties include and are not limited to: Adhering to all company rules, safety protocols, policies, procedures, and expectations. Providing a positive and productive environment by promoting a positive image and collaborative working style with other team members. Communicating effectively at shift changes to ensure all relevant information is provided to the oncoming shift regarding resident status. Completing all shift assignments and documents according to company requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum of one year of similar experience providing direct care in a similar environment is required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required
- Demonstrated exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects
- Experience exercising good judgment in a variety of challenging circumstances is also required
- High School Diploma or GED is required
- Current CPR certification or willingness to become certified within six months of hire
Nice To Haves
- CNA or PSS preferred
- No certification required if over the age of 18 with a willingness to learn the required skills

- $1.00 per hour weekend shift differential
- $2.00 per hour evening shift differential
- $4.00 per hour overnight shift differential
- $3.00 per hour every weekend shift differential
