About The Position

We are seeking an PSDS Harness Coordination & Issue Management Engineer to support day-to-day coordination, issue tracking, and execution across PSDS harness-related work. This role will focus on helping drive action closure, maintain alignment across teams, and ensure progress on wiring harness and electrical distribution activities. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career to build technical depth in wire harness and vehicle electrical systems while gaining exposure to cross-functional engineering collaboration. You will work closely with experienced engineers and leaders, supporting execution and helping keep projects on track.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or equivalent experience)
  • 0–3 years of experience in engineering, automotive, or related technical field (internships/co-ops included)
  • Basic understanding or interest in wire harness, PSDS, or vehicle electrical systems
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow through on commitments
  • Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced engineering environment
  • Proactive mindset with strong attention to detail

Nice To Haves

  • Internship, co-op, or project experience related to electrical systems or automotive engineering
  • Exposure to wiring harness design, electrical architecture, or similar topics
  • Familiarity with engineering processes such as testing, validation, or issue tracking
  • Experience working on team-based projects
  • Interest in automotive or vehicle systems development

Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day coordination across PSDS and wire harness activities
  • Track open issues, follow up on action items, and help drive closure
  • Work with cross-functional teams to resolve blockers and maintain timelines
  • Assist in preparing updates for engineering reviews (status, risks, open issues)
  • Partner with design, integration, validation, and supplier teams to stay aligned
  • Identify risks or delays and escalate with support from senior team members
  • Help improve team organization, follow-up, and execution discipline
  • Support standard work, issue tracking processes, and team operating rhythms
  • Assist with prioritizing daily tasks and maintaining focus on key deliverables
  • Provide coordination support to senior engineers and technical leads
