Seton Hall University seeks a candidate to serve as our Provost and Executive Vice President. Reporting directly to the President, the Provost serves as the University’s chief academic officer and is entrusted with advancing academic excellence, ensuring alignment with our Catholic identity and mission, strengthening research and scholarly achievement in line with our R2 designation, supporting shared governance, fostering faculty and student success, and providing strategic leadership and vision to the academic enterprise. Candidates must possess the vision, integrity, collaborative leadership and the experience necessary to guide the University through a rapidly evolving higher education landscape while remaining faithful to the values and traditions of our Catholic identity and mission. The provost works collaboratively with faculty, deans, the priest community, administrators, students, board members, alumni, external partners and cabinet counterparts to ensure that Seton Hall continues to flourish as a distinguished leader in Catholic higher education.
